Asian Cup Quater-Finals

24 games and 2160 minutes played, 71 goals scored and now eight teams have advance to the quarter-finals. South Korea and Saudi Arabia cruised their way to the Asian Cup quarter-finals on the final day of the group stage. But Asian Cup 2004 runner up, China knocked from the competition by Uzbekistan with a stunning 3-0 victory at the Shah Alam Stadium. Here are the four matches of Asian Cup quarter finals:

21 July 2007
Quarter-Final 3 (Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, Vietnam, 17:20)
Japan vs Australia

Quarter-Final 1 (Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand, 20:20)
Iraq vs Vietnam

22 July 2007
Quarter-Final 2 (National Stadium Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 18:20)
Iran vs Korea Republic

Quarter-Final 4 (Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia, 20:20)
Saudi Arabia vs Uzbekistan

  1. i thought either Aus or Jap will come to Malaysia but unfortunately they went to Hanoi so sad can’t see it live. anyway not bad having korea playing at Malaysia but i not around at the moment haih.. hope u guys enjoy it.

  2. If Japan vs Aus is held at Bukit Jalil, definitely will go and watch it 🙂 but Korea match against Iran, not bad also. Play until extra and penalties, enjoyed the match very much.
